Majic Technologies Limited was started in 2000 by James Bergin and
Michael Luxford, two friends from a young age who saw a need in the market for
quality, affordable, personable information services.
The philosophy of the founders of Majic was simple - to "Make IT Magic".
The meaning behind this simple statement is two fold:
To create quality solutions that "work magic" for the customer
To ensure that existing IT systems are kept working so the magic can continue
As such, the company of Majic was formed. Ever since then, the company
has prided itself in quality solutions that meet the demands of the customer,
within the agreed timeframe and budget. Majic has also recognised that
different clients have different needs - which is why mass-market,
"cookie-cutter" services which appear attractive on the basis of cost, are of
little or no use to most people in the long-term, and often result in
compromises being made that need not be.
This concept of individuality of purpose and design is even more prevalent in
the non-profit section of society. Many such organisation (e.g. churches,
schools, clubs) forgo quality IT solutions because they are treated as no
different from large organisations - with different needs and vastly different
budgets. Majic has always tailored its services and prices to reflect
our clientele's capabilities.
But the most important aspect of business to the founders and employees of Majic
is that of customer service. While cliche, the addage "if the customer isn't
